Today’s recipe is stuffed pepper decked out with philly steak ingredients.
I tried this recipe a few weeks back and I’m finally getting a chance to share it with you. It was so yummy and was another family hit at the dinner table. Woo Hoo!
Ingredients Needed:
2 green peppers of decent size
1 sweet onion
1 lb of thinly sliced/shaved steak
1 cup of mozzarella cheese
1Tbs olive oil
Let’s Get Started!
preheat oven to 375
add water to a baking pan and place on baking pan
Slice onion and sauté in olive oil
cut steak in long slices
add steak and cook until meat is no longer pink
cut peppers in length and cut out middle ribs and seeds
fill bottom of peppers with mozzarella cheese
add meat/onion mixture on top of cheese in pepper
add another layer of mozzarella cheese to the top of the meat/onion mixture
place peppers on foil and bake for 15-17 minutes or until cheese is melted
